Pam Carnes began her career with the Cherokee County Chamber in 1991 and has been the organization’s President & CEO since 1996. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Pam is a Georgia Certified Chamber Executive and a past Chair of the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives which honored her in 2010 as their Executive of the Year. On the local level, Pam serves on the Chattahoochee Technical College Board of Directors, Reinhardt University President's Advisory & Ambassador Council, Cherokee County Library Board of Trustees, Cherokee Sheriff's Foundation Board, the WellStar Cherokee Health Park Community Leadership Council, and the newly created Cherokee County 911 Foundation Board. She also serves on the Regional Business Coalition Policy Board and is an Ex-Officio member of the Development Authority of Cherokee County. She and her husband, Brian, live in Hickory Flat and are blessed with two daughters and a son-in-law.
