9-1-1 Dispatchers don’t just wait for the phone to ring. The C.O.R.E Team, led by Jennifer Lasenyik a 9-1-1 Call Taker, are critical educators and ambassadors for your 9-1-1 Center and Public Safety. They are dedicated to fostering a safer, more informed community by teaching citizens young and older how to use 9-1-1 effectively and strengthening local relationships in our community. Additionally, this amazing team is vital in supporting recruiting and inspiring the next generation of talented, dedicated professionals that will enter this demanding field.

Some of the ways the Cherokee County 911 Foundation supports the Community, Outreach, Recruitment and Education Team:
We actively raise money for the C.O.R.E Team to attend events and give away promotional products to raise awareness and advocate for 9-1-1.
Board Members attend community events with the C.O.R.E. Team whenever possible.
