Investing in Dispatcher Mental & Physical Health
They are the calm in our storm. Behind the headset, 9-1-1 dispatchers are exposed to high stress, life or death calls that can be mentally and physically difficult. We cannot ask your dispatchers to be the public’s lifeline without helping provide a safety net for their own health.
Investing in the health of our 9-1-1 dispatchers is an important initiative and investment in Public Safety. Join us in giving these heroes the tools they need to process trauma, maintain resilience, process stress and thrive in their demanding careers.

Help Us Support Cherokee County 911 Dispatch

Your donation directly fuels programs designed to address the unique mental and physical demands of their environment like those below:
Physical fitness grants – anytime a 9-1-1 employee wants to participate in local 5 & 10k’s as well as Tough Mudder, we pay for them to participate.
Ruby’s Renegades – We support Ruby who lives at the 9-1-1 center 24/7 helps provide a well needed mental break. Read more about Ruby here.
Under Desk Cycles – As you can imagine sitting at a desk for 12 hours with only four (4) 15-minute breaks a shift can get tough. We provided each station with an under-desk cycle.
