We are excited to share a new initiative from the Cherokee County 911 Foundation, our Mental & Physical Health Program!

Our dispatchers work tirelessly behind the scenes, answering the call when our community needs help most. To ensure they have the tools and support they need to stay strong, both mentally and physically, we’ve launched this program dedicated to their overall well-being. 

As part of this effort, the Foundation will sponsor entry fees for any 5K, 10K, or other runs our dispatchers choose to participate in. This is just one way we’re encouraging healthy outlets for stress relief, fitness, and community connection. 

Today, we are especially proud of Dispatchers Jordan and Jessica, who embraced this initiative and participated in the Chick-fil-A Moo’ve It 5K!  Our mission goes beyond equipment and resources. We are committed to supporting the people who serve at the heart of emergency communications.
